Here’s the story of how we came to be...

Neil Alford, TV Producer extraordinaire and his wife, Laura, were expecting their first baby in 2007. Their San Francisco based OB/Gyn insisted that they attend McMoyler Method prenatal classes. Neil (like many expectant dads) reluctantly agreed. Within moments of arriving in class, the magic happened. This class was engaging, entertaining and offered A LOT for the partners to actually do as they prepared for what McMoyler Method calls the "biggest event of your lives."

The class not only got Neil thinking about the impending arrival of his baby, it also got him thinking “this woman needs to be in show business!” When Neil approached Sarah, founder of McMoyler Method, about expanding her classes to a national level through a video and webcast, she said YES, let’s get started! (Incidentally, Neil and Laura’s biggest event has since happened and his name is Brady- sweet and precious and adored.)

Sarah McMoyler, RN, has developed her passion for pregnancy and babies into a thriving business through her McMoyler Method childbirth preparation and newborn parenting classes. She recognized years ago that our society was overdue for a new, fresh relevant approach to preparing for birth. Over 10,000 expectant parents have graduated from her classes in the San Francisco Bay Area. As Sarah has built her business regionally, she and her husband Jeff have raised two wonderful sons who are now teenagers. On the brink of being an empty-nester, the time was right for Sarah to take her business to the next level...

With the producer and the talent on board, they needed a business-person who could pull it all together. Enter Susan George. In addition to being the very proud mom of toddler Emmet and baby Kathryn, Susan is the founder of Kickstart Marketing – a marketing communications consultancy geared toward making small companies the next big thing. Combining her marketing sense with her recent first-hand knowledge of birth and babies, Susan was the perfect third to get this venture off the ground.

And so it was...Trimester Media was born.
